3 killed in Gujrat: Three individuals died after their car collided with a mini-truck on a highway in Gujarat’s Patan district in the early hours of Wednesday, according to authorities.
The victims were on their way to Chotila town in Surendranagar district to worship at a temple when the accident occurred at approximately 3 a.m. on the Sami-Sankheshwar state route in the area, according to an officer from Sami police station.
According to him, the automobile slammed into the mini-truck from behind.
The impact of the crash destroyed the car’s front end, and the bodies were eventually hauled out and sent to a government hospital for a post-mortem, he added.
“The passengers were from Radhanpur town in the district and were on their way to the temple town of Chotila to offer prayers,” the official said.
The deceased have been identified as Hasmukh Thakkar (36), Pintu Raval (27) and Dashrath Raval (26), the police official said.
