Three people, including two minors, were killed in a shooting incident outside an eastern Pennsylvania home on Tuesday.
According to officials, the incident, which also left a 33-year-old man wounded, happened at nearly 10 pm (local time).
The deceased, all students at the Lebanon School District, Capello, were identified as 19-year-old Joshua Lugo-Perez, 8-year-old Jesus Perez-Salome and 9-year-old Sebastian Perez-Salome, Mayor Sherry Capello and Chief Bret Fisher of the Lebanon police department told Associated Press.
Commenting on the incident, Fisher said, “It appears, at the early stages of this investigation, that one of the victims was targeted; the other three victims were uninvolved.”
Other people besides the victims were also present in the home, he said.
Meanwhile, one person was taken into custody following the incident, after officials conducted a search at a home. Officials said the man, however, was arrested on an unrelated matter.
