As Maharashtra sees an uptick in fresh Covid cases once again, three deaths and over 550 fresh cases were reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the health department data, 562 fresh Covid-19 cases were reported on Sunday, taking the number of active cases to 3,488 in the state. Mumbai reported 172 new cases during this period.Three districts in the state have high numbers of active cases. Of these, 1,070 active cases are in Mumbai, 766 in Pune and 616 in Thane.
