There has been a surge again in active cases of corona virus infection in India. However, there has been a decrease in new cases of corona as compared to yesterday. According to the Ministry of Health, 9,111 new corona cases have been registered in the last 24 hours. However, the number has been recorded less as compared to yesterday.

Corona’s active cases cross 60 thousand
According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the increase in active cases continues. This means that there has been a decline in the number of people recovering from corona in the country. The number of active cases has increased to 60,313. A day earlier this figure was 57,542.
27 people died
The death toll from Corona has also increased. There have been 27 deaths in the last 24 hours, with which the death toll has risen to 5,31,141. Talking about the total cases of Kovid, the number has gone up to 4.47 crore (4,48,27,226).
6 died in Gujarat
There have been six deaths in Gujarat from Corona, 4 in Uttar Pradesh, three each in Delhi and Rajasthan, two in Maharashtra and one each in Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand and Tamil Nadu. Three deaths have been recorded from Corona in Kerala.
Positivity rate also increased
The daily positivity rate of Corona has also increased to 8.40 percent and the weekly positivity rate has been estimated at 4.94 percent. The active cases now account for 0.13 per cent of the total infections and the national COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.68 per cent, the ministry said.
According to the website of the ministry, 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been given so far in the country under the nationwide vaccination campaign.
