A 25-year-old was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home in the Boniyar area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.
The deceased, identified as 25-year-old Ishfaq Ahmad, son of Mohd Arif Mughal of Uranbowa Boniyar, was discovered dead at his residence by family members. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
“The body has been taken for medical and legal formalities. A case under U/S 174 CRPC has been registered, and further investigation has been initiated. Additionally, after the completion of medical formalities, the body will be handed over to the family for the last rites,” officials said.
