22 persons apprehended, 24 vehicles confiscated in Kashmir

In a major drive against illegal mining and extraction of sources the Kulgam police on Monday in Kashmir apprehended 22 persons and confiscated 24 vehicles used in the commission of crime.

Taking cognizance of the crime, the Kulgam police nabbed  22 persons and seized 15 tractors, 7 dumpers, 1 tipper and one earth mover.

The accused have been nabbed for illegal extracting sand from Veshaw river in Kulgam and also transporting the minerals out of the UT.
