Two persons died while another one was injured after a bus was hit by a landslide in Bhanghroo Gandoh village of Doda district on Sunday.
An official told the news agency.that the bus was on its way from Gawari Gandoh to Jammu when a landslide hit it near Bhanghroo Gandoh.
He said that in the incident three persons were trapped and soon after a search and rescue operation was launched.
He said that they were later shifted to SDH Gandoh for treatment, where two of them succumbed to their injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Amir Sohail son of Abdul Qayoom of Kahara and Mudasir Ali son of Nissar Ahmed of Halore Changa.
Whereas, rains have damaged most of the links roads and rivers like Chenab, neeru Nallah etc are flooded above the danger level.
Deputy commissioner Doda Vishesh Paul Mahajan has visited most of the places which are affected he told the media that houses near river chenab and other Nallah has shifted to safe places all teams are on high alert.
Moreover, traffic movement was stoped at pul Doda towards Doda for the time been as river chenab was flooding above the danger level which was touching the chenab.
