Road accident in Pakistan: A vehicle accident in Pakistan’s Punjab province today killed 16 people and injured 15 more.

Many women and children were killed when a passenger bus carrying around 40 people collided with a pick-up truck carrying diesel drums on the Faisalabad Motorway near Pindi Bhattian and burst into flames.

The bus was on its way to Islamabad from Karachi when it collided with a pick-up truck near the Pindi-Bhattian Interchange around 4 a.m., according to District Police Officer (DPO) Fahad.

DPO Fahad, on the other hand, stated that 16 remains had been found from the bus and would be identified by DNA testing.

According to the medical superintendent, the injured were taken to Pindi Bhattian and Faisalabad Hospitals.

According to the article, the death toll is expected to grow because four of the injured are in serious condition.

Every day, several people are killed in road accidents across Pakistan.
