A 15-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and raped by a 20-year-old youth in Bakshi Nagar area of Jammu today.
As per report, The girl resident of Sarwal in Jammu was abducted by a man who lives in Janipur and who took the victim to a secluded place, where he raped her.A police complaint registered by the family of the victim at Bakshi Nagar Police station said that the accused who is from Janipur abducted the victim and took her to a secluded place and raped her.
After the incident the Bakshi Nagar police swung into action and nabbed the perpetrator within a short span of time.
A case has been registered at the Bakshi Nagar police station and the accused has been booked under the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POSCO), the report said.
