The Lakes Conservation and Management Authority is going to restore around thirteen navigation channels in the coming months, with work on five channels already in full swing.
The department has identified several channels, including Tengbagh to Bakhuri Mohalla, Tengbagh to Aanchari Mohalla, Jalla Mohalla to Shamshan Ghat, Imam Barah Hassan Abad to Gurpora, and Babademb outflow channel, whose existing depth is 2 to 3 feet.
