1 killed, another hurt on Jammu-Pathankot National highway

A woman was killed and a man suffered injuries when their vehicle was hit by a truck in Bari Brahmana area of Jammu on Saturday.
According to the report, the incident took place near a Petrol pump at Bari Brahmana in Samba on Jammu-Pathankot National highway, when a man and woman were going on a scooty then a speeding truck hit them, resulting on the spot death of the pillon rider woman and injuries to the scooty driver.
The deceased woman is yet to be identified.
A case has been registered at Bari Brahmana police station and an investigation is underway.
