A drug trader has been apprehended with 40 gram of Heroin from Narwal area of Jammu city this morning. A case FIR NO. 16/2024 u/s 8/21/22 has been registered against the accused at Bahu Fort Police station.
According to the report, a Naka was laid by Narwal police in Narwal and while performing their duty the cops impounded a man and when the accused couldn’t give a satisfactory answer to police queries, they frisked him and recovered 40 gram of heroin from his possession.
The arrested drug dealer is identified as Sonu s/o Bodh Raj resident of Valmiki colony of Jammu.
An investigation by the police has been set into motion. There are different cases registered against the accused in Gandhi Nagar police station.
