In furtherance to tighten the noose on Bovine Smugglers under the Operation Kamdhenu, on 08/12/2024 during the operation Kamdhenu, a Case FIR No. 161/2024 U/S 223/BNS 11PCA act against Sewa Singh S/o Gowher Singh R/o Dhanah Chullas Tehsil Bhaghwah District Doda has been registered in the PS Hiranagar. While checking the previous record of the above said accused person and found (08)cases registered at different Police Stations.
All the case details have been collected from the concerned police station. As the above said accused is “Habitual Offender” and has not changed his behaviour despite a number of FIRs being registered against him. Therefore, as per the direction of the senior officer, prepared the Dossier of Sewa Singh and sent it to Higher ups for detaining under Public Safety Act (PSA) in order to maintain Public peace & order which is likely to be disturbed due to his nefarious activities. In this connection order issued by the District Magistrate Kathua against the said Sewa Singh S/o Gowher Singh R/o Dhanah Chullas Tehsil Bhagwah District Doda under Public Safety Act 1978 vide order No.PSA/133 dated 18/12/2024. SHO PS Hiranagar Insp. Arun Koul alongwith police party arrested the detenue namely Sewa Singh S/o Gowher Singh R/o Dhanah Chullas Tehsil Bhagwah District Doda who has been arrested and today lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
